Dieser Umschlag wurde in Chris Columbus Fantasy- Abenteuer „Harry Potter und der Stein der Weisen“ (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone) verwendet: Als Harry Potter (gespielt von Daniel Radcliffe) im Haus der Dursleys über seine Aufnahme in der Schule Hogwarts informiert werden soll, sehen sich Eulen gezwungen, das Haus seiner unliebsamen Zieh eltern mit Briefen zu überschwemmen, um den Informationsfluss zu gewährleisten, den sein Onkel Vernon (gespielt von Richard Griffiths) zu boykottieren versucht. Der Umschlag ist aus marmoriertem Papier gefertigt, die Vorderseite zeigt Harrys Adresse in Grün, die Rückseite das Hogwarts-Wappen. Den Umschlag ziert ein gedrucktes Hogwarts-Siegel, um die Flugfähig keit des Umschlages zu gewährleisten. When Harry Potter (played by Daniel Radcliffe) is supposed to receive his letter of acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the delivery owls feel obliged to inundate the house of his unpleasant foster parents with letters in order to convey the message, which his uncle Vernon (played by Richard Griffiths) is trying to boycott. The envelope is made of marbled paper, the front shows Harry's address in green, while the back shows the crest of Hogwarts. The envelope is decorated with a printed Hogwarts seal in order to ensure the flight capability of the envelope.
