ARISTIDE MAILLOL BanyulssurMer – erignan 2 Aristide Maillol, 1861 Banyuls-sur-Mer – 1944 Perpignan LA PENSÉE, 1930 Bronze mit brauner, teils glänzender Patina. 27,9 x 15 x 17,5 cm. Seitlich links am Sockel monogrammiert „M“, am hinteren Sockelrand Gießerstempel „CIRE PERDUE C.VALSUANI“. Exemplar 4/ 6. uf eine achen ocel die sitende nacte unge Frau, die Beine eng an den Körper herangezogen. Mit ihrem linken Arm stützt sie sich am Boden ab, während sie ihren rechten Arm erhoben hat und ihren Unterarm an die Stirn ihres gesenkten Kopfes hält.
